MENTORSHIP ADVICE PROGRAM (MAP) COORDINATOR

Becky Harrison

YEAR: 2nd Year
PROGRAM: Forensic Biology Specialist

Salut tout le monde! My name is Becky, my pronouns are she/her and I’m a second-year Forensic Biology Specialist! As you might’ve guessed, I’m a proud Franco-Ontarian! Last year, I had the amazing opportunity to serve as one of the first-year representatives within the society, and this year, I’ll be one of your MAP Coordinators! In 2025, I was selected as a recipient of the Loran Foundation Award, a prestigious Canadian scholarship that supports students throughout their first four years of university through financial assistance and leadership development opportunities.

As one of your MAP Coordinators, my goal is to create an environment where first-year students can connect with others who share their interests and feel welcomed, understood, and heard. Outside of studies, I am a singer, a bunny mom, and an outdoor enthusiast. Please feel free to reach out at any time! Emmy and I are thrilled to meet each and every one of you, and we can’t wait to make this year a memorable one!
